If we feel the demand is high enough, we’ll consider repeating the training/event.
Our training / events / online courses are open to anyone working with rangatahi | young people who are experiencing mental health or addiction issues. If there is a restriction on who can attend, this will be made clear on the information we provide.
Whāraurau is funded by the Government to provide training, however as we have limited funds it is important to let us know if you aren't able to attend. This also allows us to offer your place to someone else. Note: we do not cover the cost of travel or accommodation.

Whāraurau does not offer counselling services. Our role is to provide training and support for people who work with young people.
The team is located in three offices: Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. However, training is run nationally, either in person or online.
Whāraurau is funded by different Government agencies to provide workforce development for people working with infants, children, and young people who are experiencing mental health and addiction issues.
